Abby Spencer | MS, LPC
Counselor
Abby Spencer is a Licensed Associate Counselor with a Master’s in Counseling from John Brown University. She has experience working with adolescents and adults and has a particular passion for supporting women in their 20s and 30s. Abby works with clients navigating anxiety, perfectionism, trauma, and relational challenges, offering a warm and grounded space for reflection, healing, and growth.
Abby takes a relational, insight-oriented approach to therapy, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy. She helps clients identify patterns, deepen self-understanding, and build compassion for the parts of themselves they may have pushed aside. Abby often explores how early experiences shape present-day struggles, while empowering the client’s present-day self to make decisions based on values, not fear.
Above all, Abby is committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, accepted, and empowered to be their full selves. She believes that therapy is not about “fixing” who you are, but reconnecting with the parts of you that already hold wisdom, resilience, and the capacity for change.
