Community Programs & Trainings

  • TIERS

TIERS (Trauma-Informed Educators Reaching Students) is a research-backed program by Gap Relief, supported by the Walton Family Foundation, to reduce the impact of stress and trauma in Northwest Arkansas schools. Over 1–2 years, TIERS provides group training, individual consultation, and leadership development for educators and administrators. Rooted in neuroscience, the program equips schools with practical tools to support staff well-being and meet students' emotional and regulation needs—building a healthier, more resilient learning environment for all.

  • Year-Long Comprehensive Training

While short trainings can be greatly beneficial to teams, for organizations curious in growing in their view of pain, stress, and trauma, and the impact on individuals and organizations, Gap Relief offers a year long comprehensive program. This training helps team members and leaders become more resilient and engage their workplace with a more trauma informed lens.

  • Specialized Training Sessions

In trauma-impacted organizations, stress affects everyone. Gap Relief provides training that builds a common language, strengthens culture, and equips staff with practical strategies to manage stress and foster resilience. This collective approach supports well-being, improves communication, and enhances long-term organizational performance.

  • Consulting

Gap Relief partners with trauma-impacted organizations to build resilience, strengthen connection, and create lasting cultural change. Our trauma-informed consultants provide practical tools, compassionate guidance, and collaborative support to help teams manage stress, recover from critical incidents, and sustain long-term success.

  • Wellness Initiatives

At Gap Relief, we help organizations care for the people who carry out their mission. Our wellness initiatives are designed to strengthen resilience and connection within trauma-impacted systems. By making conversations about stress and well-being a normal part of the culture, we equip teams to handle challenges before and after they arise. When people are supported, organizations thrive—and that’s where true impact begins.

  • International Services

Gap Relief cares about trauma impacted individuals not just in our community, but around the world. We recognize that it is not always possible for helpers and other individuals in need of resourcing to come to us, so we work to find ways to come to you, wherever your organization might need us, bringing healing and resiliency to where it’s needed.

  • Critical Debriefs

After any critical incident, trauma impact often ripples throughout the entire organization– affecting morale, communication, and overall functioning. Gap Relief is equipped with the expertise to help trauma-impacted organizations navigate these challenges and guide the organization back to stability, ensuring that teams can recover, rebuild, and continue to move forward with resilience.
