Janie Crow | MS, LAC

Intake Coordinator & Counselor

Janie has her Master of Science in Counseling and is currently a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC). She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).

Janie is passionate about helping clients make sense of their story by helping them access the deeper parts of themselves. She believes change happens when your story is believed and you have a safe and supportive presence helping you navigate the healing process. Janie approaches counseling with a balance of client-led exploration and therapist-guided structure, according to each individual client’s needs and preferences.

Janie frequently works with those who have experienced spiritual, sexual, or domestic trauma, as well as first responders and ministry/non-profit workers who have been impacted by the difficulties and stressors of their professions. Janie also has over 12 years of experience working with teenagers and young adults in a variety of contexts and loves providing a safe space for them to be themselves and processes present struggles.

Janie also serves as Gap Relief’s Intake Coordinator. She is passionate about client care, and works diligently to ensure that each service inquiry is met with compassion and care as she connects each client and partner to the Gap Relief team members and services that best meet their needs.
