Jessica Forst

Community Engagement Manager

Jessica has her BA in International Studies and has several years of experience serving nonprofits in various roles of leadership, direct care and advocacy, administration, and event planning. (Prestonwood, Cross Church, Children’s Advocacy Center of Benton County, Restoration Village, Saving Grace, Girls on the Run of NWA).  Her experience in these areas equip her to serve Gap Relief in an impactful way as she understands the needs and complexities of serving in trauma-impacted sectors. 

She founded a photography & design business in 2015 which she continues to operate, as well as founded an equine related business in 2023 where it continues to inspire joy, connection, and improved wellbeing through enrichment experiences. She is trained in the SPUR model (an equine-assisted approach to relationship building and building emotional intelligence) and uses this model for therapeutic interactions at the farm.

Jessica looks forward to engaging with community leaders to further garner awareness and support of the organization’s mission of helping the helpers build a more resilient community.
