Rachel Norwood
Office Manager
Rachel holds a B.S. in Family and Human Services from John Brown University. Rachel is a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator and a Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) – Provisional. In her role at Gap Relief, Rachel contributes to Gap Relief’s mission by managing office operations and logistics, and developing resources and training programs for the various sectors Gap Relief serves.
In addition to her work with Gap Relief, Rachel brings valuable firsthand experience to the field of trauma-informed care through her full-time role as a firefighter and EMT with a local fire department. As one of the founders for her department’s peer support team, she possesses a deep understanding of the profound impact trauma can have on first responders and other professionals in high-stress environments. This experience fuels her passion for advocating for and supporting the mental well-being of those who regularly encounter trauma in their line of work.
